2021 SKFF Grant Distribution Release

Did you know that SKFF has distributed $3.8 MILLION since 2001?  From our early years of one or two grants to our 2021 partnerships (29 in all!)…we’ve grown!  But as a family foundation committed to the community, our growth is due to the fabulous work of our partners.

2021 Funded Partners are:

Amigos Latino Center
Birth to Five
Boys & Girls Clubs of Wayne County
Cardinal Greenway
Communities In Schools
Cope Environmental Center
Friends of Morrisson-Reeves Library
Gateway Hunger Relief Center
Girls Inc.

Wayne County Historical Museum

Grants were also made to several area schools including: Fairview, Vaile, Charles, Crestdale, Starr, Westview, Test Intermediate, and Richmond Friends School.  (Teachers, have you seen our new Teacher Guide? It helps connect your classroom with great opportunities across Wayne County!)

Six percent of the total giving was made to organizations in board members’ home communities.  Those distributions included gifts to:

The Child Center (Missouri)
Feather River Land Trust (California)
Neighborhood Church (California)
