Our History

The Stamm Koechlein Family Foundation (SKFF) was founded in 2000 through a grant from Dave Stamm and Terri Batsel (née Koechlein). Dave and Terri, both raised in Richmond, Indiana and graduates of Purdue University, chose to direct the Foundation to fund grants requested by well-managed causes in Richmond and the surrounding area that specifically relate to serving the needs of youth.

Terri and Dave believe that towns like Richmond have substantial unmet needs especially when it comes to causes that improve the lives of children and young adults. Though they are no longer married, they and their extended families continue to search for the best opportunities to give back to Richmond and award additional grants each year.

Over the past 15 years, the Stamm Koechlein Family Foundation has awarded grants totaling in excess of $3.5 million. Our efforts and investments have touched the lives of so many people, for which there is no greater sense of satisfaction.
