The Stamm Koechlein Family Foundation is a small private family foundation that provides financial support in the areas of children and education. We endeavor to build community through support of organizations that have 501 (c)(3) status and which bring opportunity to youth in Richmond, Indiana and the surrounding area. We make distributions annually to roughly 30 organizations with total giving at more than $250,000. We provide support for ongoing programs, new initiatives, equipment, and collaborations. We will consider capital campaign gifts during our regular cycle. While our average grant is approximately $10,000, we accept proposals of all types. Before applying, it’s best to contact a Foundation board or staff member to talk through potential funding opportunities. You can reach the Philanthropy Advocate, Alison Zajdel, at firstname.lastname@example.org or Monica Koechlein, Board President, at Monica.email@example.com.
In addition to funding opportunities in Wayne County, members of the board also have the opportunity to support organizations in their own communities. However, organizations outside of Richmond must be invited to apply in order to be considered for funding.
